Visit Cortona Eventi e Convegni

The Centro Convegni has its head office in the ex-convent of Sant’Agostino, beside the Church of the same name. The construction of the complex dates to the mid-thirteenth century and is located in Cortona’s historic center.

The convent consists of a large building on a square plan surrounding a central cloister which is decorated with 29 frescoes depicting episodes from the life of Saint Augustine. These frescoes, on the ground floor, overlook a splendid space under a vaulted walkway where the conference rooms and services for the Centro Convegni are located.

The Church of Sant’Augustino, following a recent restoration, has become the Auditorium and today the Centro features multi-use conference rooms of all sizes, with capacities from 25 up to 300. All are equipped with advanced technology and all the necessary comforts.

The Centro is a place for studies, and enjoys the privilege of welcoming some of the great Italian and foreign institutions including:

The Centro is also in demand for conventions for pharmaceutical and medical firms and national political organizations such as the Democratic Party (PD) Summer School.
